Gallery of Champions

From an extremely limited, carefully planned 30 year breeding program, Brigadoon has produced a high number of Champions, Specialty Winners, & Group placing Bull Terriers, who are also loving companions and healthy pets!

CH Brigadoon Brassy N Walkin Tall earned her first AKC pts going BOV from the puppy classes and won a Puppy Group 4 from Dr Alvin Krause. In Jan 08 in the Palm Springs specialties Lucy earned a major going BOS under Breeder Judge Dr Bob Myall. In Apr 08, at the NCTA/SKC specialties, Lucy finished her CH going WB, BOW under Breeder Judges Maggie Alhino and Dr Franne Berez.

CH Brigadoon Gogo Boots started her show career at 10.5 months at the Palm Springs Specialties. Under Breeder Judge Pat Whincoup, she won WB, 4 AKC & 2 ROM pts. Under Breeder Judge Bob Myall, she went BOV earning 5 AKC & 3 ROM pts. She also won a Puppy Group 4. In her second weekend of shows at the NCTA/SKC Specialties at just 1 year of age, Gogo won each day under Breeder Judges Jon Cole, Maggie Alhino, Gordon Smith, and Dr Franne Berez, to finish her CH and her ROM. She also took a BBE Grp 3 and a Sweeps Grp 2 and was pulled in the regular group. Gogo sparkles with energy and excitement. She has a perfect bite, beautiful head, sound body and moves like a dream.

As a puppy, CH Brigadoon La Belle Grande Dame's first big  weekend at the Portland Specialties Jan 07 included a huge WB/BOW/BOV (over  specials) for her first major and a pull in the ultra tough/top quality  group.  At the NCTA Apr 07 specialities, Olivia won Best Puppy in  Sweeps under Breeder Judge Ray Sharp, RWB under Breeder Judge Mary Remer, and  WB/BOW under Breeder Judge Gayle Denman for her second major.    Continuing to win over specials, this youngster with her  lovely head, dark eyes, perfect bite and correct construction finished her CH under Breeder Judge Maggie Alhino and already has a Group 3 placement.

CH Brigadoon Baronesse Essex lives with us and we love everyday with her. At her first BCBTC Sp, she went reserve to a bitch who was finished, but not moved up, so Kenya lost an AKC major & ROM pts. However, she went on to win a coveted Finalist medal at Silverwood Oct 05. She earned her second major from Breeder Judge Gayle Denham, who awarded her BOV over specials. In the incredibly tough 07 Rose City Classic Terrier Group, Judge Vandra Huber cut to only 8 Terriers, including Kenya. This photo is of her Aug 05 BOV win at the Bully match in Dixon CA. Kenya is a beauty inside and out.

CH Brigadoon Honey Bun CGC was BOV at the Arizona CBTC match Mar 07, also winning WB and BOS under Breeder Judge Frank Alhino.  She finished her AKC Championship at the NCTA Specialities on 12 Apr 07, where Judge Ken McDermott awarded her an Award of Merit over a number of specials!  On 13 Apr 07, in her first time to show as a Champion, Fiona was awarded first Award of Merit by Breeder Judge Mary Remer, over a number of other champions.

CH Brigadoon Rebel Bertram CGC, TDI is shown here in the baby photo after his win at the BCBTC Match.  He also won a DMKC Puppy Gp 4.  He finished his CH with ROM wins under Breeder Judges Roz Clamper and Ken McDermott.  In Oct 07, Rebel earned a ROM major going BOS at the Philadelphia BTC in Gettysburg.  Rebel also earned his CGC and Therapy Dog titles and has a new Group 3 to his credit (also shown).  

CH Brigadoon Fire Bird CGC This beautiful heavyweight earned her first points showing the day she was exactly 6 months old. In her next two shows, she won BOV and took Group placements. She has gone on to a series of BOV wins, 7 Group placements to date and BOS & BBBE at the Nov 06 Euk AKC National Championships. Phoenix finished her CH under Breeder Judge Bill Poole at the Oregon Sp 07.  She took an Award of Merit at the Sacramento Apr 07 NCTA specialities.  Phoenix is also a Best in International Show winner.  With a correct bite, handsome construction and lots of spirit, this beauty is turning heads every time she walks in the ring.

   

CH Brigadoon Luck Bee A Lady earned her first AKC and ROM points at the WA Sp under Naomi Wayne in Aug 05, continuing winning under breeder judges to finish her Championship under David Harris on 27 Aug 06. Molly was also a Silverwood 2005 finalist!

CH Brigadoon Etoile Blanc ROM began her show career at 6 months by going Best in Sweepstakes & Best Puppy at the Palm Springs Sp January 2006. This bright, delightfully sweet girl finished her CH and ROM 2 show weekends later, at 15 months of age, winning WB and BOS under Anita Bartell at the Puget Sound BTCA Sp. (CH Brigadoon Buns of Steele ROM, CGC / Brigadoon Apple Blossom). Tsuki was also 2006 Silverwood Finalist!

CH Brigadoon Walk-A-Bout ROM During his incredible first birthday weekend at the Sacramento Specialities,Walker finished his Championship, was in the "cut" in 3 groups, and won a Sweeps Gp 3 under Breeder Judge Lynne Myall. Selected by Breeder Judge, the Hon David Merriam, Walker was an Oct 04 Silverwood Finalist. Walker finished his ROM under Breeder Judge Winkie MacKay Smith at the Orange Coast Specialties in Jan 05. In Mar 05, Walker (still not 2 years old) took a Group 2 under Terrier Judge Fred Stephens and in Oct 05, Walker was Reserve to the Silverwood Winner, BOS to the Silverwood Winner and Best Colored Dog! In O6, Walker earned several group placements and was BOV at the Euk AKC National Championships.

CH Brigadoon All Black Soquel ROM at 9 months, after only 2 show weekends, Fern was one pt from her Championship. At 14 months, Fern finished her CH at Great Western Terrier Assn. In Oct 04, selected by Breeder Judge the Hon David Merriam, this stunning beauty was a Silverwood Finalist! Aug 05, Fabulous Fern and Gail finished Fern's ROM going BOV under Breeder Judge Naomi Waynee in Washington. In Oct 05, Fern was awarded one of two coveted Awards of Merit at the BTCA National Sp. In 06, Fern took time out to have a litter of puppies and did so much BOV Specialty winning that she remainded in the top breed point standings. In Nov 06, she was awarded an AOM from Judge Karen Wilson at the Eukanuba AKC National Championships.

CH Brigadoon Babbling Brooke CGC (littersister to one year old CH Brigadoon Walk About and CH Brigadoon All BlackSoquel). Beginning her show career with this NCTA "major" winin heavy, high quality competition, Brooke finished her AKC CH 9 monthslater at the Orange Coast Specialities going Winner's Bitch under BreederJudge Roz Clamper.

CH Brugown's Travelling Man at Brigadoon - After moving from Tasmania in 2003, young "Henry" earned his majors and ROM pts under breeder judges, finishing his AKC CH under Judge Becky Poole on 16 Apr 05. Henry has an active life in San Francisco and Mendocino, where he enjoys the great outdoors and playing with dogs who visit the ranch .
